About Us
PHILOSOPHY
We believe that the first few years of life play a role of utmost importance in the development of an individual's personality. This belief is backed by the vast majority of psychological research. Each child is a unique human being who, aside from their physical needs (feeding, sleeping, and being diapered), need to be loved, nurtured, and respected. In our facility, children are respected as individuals within a program that is child-oriented, rather than teacher-oriented.
In our nurturing environment, children will develop trusting relationships, appropriate communication skills, and good character through interacting with both us and their peers, while feeling secure in knowing they have support and guidance. Adults provide protection, security, stimulation, support, limitations, and affection. We will help them build their confidence, enhance their self-esteem, and develop independence and problem solving skills through making choices and assisting in planning their activities. Meanwhile, they will enjoy a peaceful, active, and conductive learning environment.
Parents / families are a child's first and most important teacher, and they play a vital role in our program. We believe it is a cooperative effort between parents and the school to ensure that the children become happy and successful adults.
GOALS
• To provide a safe, secure, healthy environment for your child
• To promote optimal physical and intellectual growth for each child
• To recognize and support children's individuality as they develop at their own pace and at their own time
• To provide and improve the opportunities that children need to enhance their personal growth and performance
• To treat children with respect and kindness
• To teach children to respect and value themselves, as well as others
• Prior to being independent, help them realize they can depend on familiar adults and a predictable environment
• To demonstrate a continued understanding of the importance of structure, schedule, routine, and to provide children with guidelines, security, and order
• To meet the individual needs of each child, and to monitor and adjust program activities with the cooperation of parents and any others involved
MISSION
Our mission is to be "ideal" in all aspects of care. We are committed to fulfilling the needs of children in all areas of development, and improving the educational opportunities for children and their families
